The Academy for Teachers Chorus offers a creative and restorative haven for hardworking, devoted educators. We meet weekly and perform twice a year. Under the baton of Amber Salladin, the chorus sings a range of music: classical, folk, contemporary, and pop. The chorus has performed at Carnegie Hall, St. Malachy’s Actors’ Chapel, and Steinway Hall. All teachers, current or retired, from public, charter, and private schools are warmly invited to join. No previous experience is required; beginning singers are welcome.
