Gross Anatomy
with Samuel D. Hodge
Offered in partnership with The Museum of the City of New York
Friday, January 8, 2016

This Master Class offers a unique and practical approach to the study of gross anatomy. Teachers will take a multimedia journey though the human body as the systems of the body are considered from a doctor’s point of view. Particular attention will be paid to the heart, lungs, kidneys, and knee. We will also take into account how diagnoses are made and examine the practical details of medical tests. A portion of the class will take place in the cadaver lab at Mt. Sinai Medical School where teachers will don gloves and aprons in order to view prosecuted cadavers and feel the organs of the body.

Samuel D. Hodge. Jr. is a professor and chair of the Legal Studies Department at Temple University where he teaches both law and anatomy.
