A Bird Walk in Central Park
with Jeffrey Train
at Central Park
Wednesday, July 24, 2019
Tickets are no longer available.

Join us as we explore Central Park’s Ramble, learn what birds make which songs, and marvel at the many avian species that make the Park at least a temporary home. If you are a birder, come and share your wisdom; if you are new to birding, take a walk with us and begin compiling your life list.

Jeffrey Train teaches English and positive psychology at Northern Valley Regional High School in Old Tappan, New Jersey. He has been an educator for 19 years and is a citizen scientist with the Billion Oyster Project. He is also a volunteer for the Hoboken Green Team, which, notably, succeeded in establishing a citywide plastic bag ban earlier this year. Jeffrey has also introduced bat houses to Hoboken’s waterfront and is an enthusiastic composter. He relishes teaching others about nature’s extraordinary mysteries that hide in plain sight.
