Great Writers on Great Teachers

As part of our mission to raise respect for the teaching profession, The Academy commissions well-known writers to write about the teachers who made the most difference in their lives. We publish these in charming chapbooks that we snail mail to our Fellows three times a year to cheer them on. We also mail them to our donors and supporters, as a reminder that teachers change lives. Then we post them online for the world to see.
